I know what you’re thinking…. throw back Thursday? Really? I know, but I found photos from this day that I thought I had lost, so with my excitement, I decided to share with you all these amazing few days with my boyfriend, Eric, and his wonderful family! This was, I think, my first REAL wine tasting expirience, and it was in such a beautiful place. We hit Los Olivos, San Ynez, and Solvang, Ca. Perfect places to go wine tasting. All the winearies we went to were so different from one another. One even looked like a shack. But on the inside, it was AMAZING, even had a beautiful outdoor garden. And yes, along the way we stopped to visit with the cows. (for a while actually) haha. It was one of the funnest little weekend trips I have taken. So fun!
Today was all about the street art in Venice! I was so excited. The weather in La today was AMAZING, I mean really, what is summer? haha. I’m talking 88 Degrees in November. It was most definitely a great day to wonder the streets, and take photos.
We began the day by taking an Uber car to the beach, which is about 2 miles from my apartment. We hung up with my boyfriends sister, and room mate! Our motive was thrift shopping! We found a bunch of great vintage stores, and I ended up getting an awesome watch by Guess, with a mother of pearl face. I also bought 2 jean button up tops for $1 EACH! 😀 It really made my day.
Then we ate some great Mexican food, over looking the Pacific. The sun was a bit bright, and made it a little hot, but it was worth it! We all then moved down to the water, hung out, and digested the food, as we watched the sun set. I have to say, it was very relaxing.

Hello everyone! So excited about this post because I had such a great time! First of all I was so excited to know that people there knew I was a fashion blogger, and that they were excited to see this post, So I am happy to write this for them as well. I wish I had taken more photos, but unfortunetly my battery died. (so embarrassing) Silly me.
Anyways, this was such a fun night. I was there with my boyfriend and his mother and sister, Who had just come home from living in Europe. It was great to spend some time with her as well after a little over a year of not seeing her.
Now as for the event. You walk in, and of course everyone is SO nice, even greeted us with hugs. They were serving DELICIOUS Baked pastries from Portos Bakery. (If you haven’t had Portos, Do it… Now.. Go.. I am telling you! I loved seeing all the shoes.. And the NEW shoes they have this season, with the gorgeous trim. I almost wish I had picked THOSE out, but It’s okay, I like the shoes I chose. 😉

What an amazing night this was.
Weddings are always so much fun, such a special and significant time in a couple’s life. We were surrounded by amazing people, good music, and of course, an amazing atmosphere. In this blog post, I will be mostly covering the gorgeous surroundings at the Newhall mansion in Piru, Ca. Driving up to the mansion, you are taken through a small town that was simply adorable, then taken through the large steel gates of the Newhall Mansion.

This place was absolutely beautiful. Had an old school Victorian vibe. The mansion was built in 1890, originally owned by publisher David C. Cook, and later bought by the Warring family and later purchased by the Newhall family who rebuilt the mansion to its original specifications in 1983 after a devastating fire. So of course with all that history, My friend Shelby and I decided we had to go on an adventure through this three story house.
A look inside
There was stain glass everywhere, and the wall paper was made of either red velvet or felt and some sort of very soft fabric as pictured in the photo directly above. There were so many beautiful details in the home that it was hard to get photos of everything, and of course there were a ton of locked doors, as you can imagine.
Sorry for the lack of outfit photos, The light wasn’t good enough to get pictures just right. But not to worry more from the Cole Haan Event tonight coming your way. Stay tuned.
